Returning to climbing after an injury is hard. After back to back wrist injuries, I knew I had to take my recovery seriously. I worked with sports medicine and occupational therapy and, while they were helpful, there were questions they couldn’t answer for me. I wanted to know why my wrists were such a problem area, how I could start climbing again safely, and (most important of all) how I could keep this from happening again. Working with Anna was been a tremendous help. She has been able to answer the questions that have mattered the most to me. Not only has she been able to help with injury recovery, she has also been mindful of my overall strength and climbing ability. She has identified other weak spots that I didn’t know I had. In just a few weeks of working with her, I have noticed a big improvement in both my overall strength and climbing performance. Anna has been patient in listening to my frustrations and fears around my injury and she is always thorough in her explanations of how she has is addressing both my concerns and other things she has noticed from working with me. I feel confident that I will have the tools I need to keep making progress in my climbing. Working with Anna has been the best decision I have made after my injury. I would highly recommend her to anyone, whether they are looking for help with injury recovery or injury prevention.
